You can verify this by using CL Eye Test application. The camera settings are persistent, so any change in one application will stay when used in the other one. I have Windows 10 and the CL eye driver v5. In order to change the camera settings, the camera needs to be capturing, otherwise it doesn’t make sense changing settings you cannot see.
